Embracing progress over perfection is crucial for making strides in business and personal growth. By focusing on the present and doing the best we can with the information we have, we can make significant progress without the burden of unrealistic expectations. It's okay to make mistakes and face criticism, as it's an essential part of the learning process.

Perfection is the enemy of the good. I've heard that said in business many times because we wait till we get something absolutely perfect before we do it.
Well, guess what? It's not going to be perfect. We're going to make progress. It's not going to always be perfect the way we want it.
Perfection is God's business. Progress is our business. And that's what we're going to do. And we're going to just take it one step at a time and do the best we can with the information we have today. Ten years from now, we may learn some more stuff. We may be better at it. But for right now, this is all we have. And we're going to operate on this.
And we're going to make progress on this thing. And don't put this unreasonable demand and expectation on yourself of being perfect. It's just not going to happen. And it's OK.
It doesn't need to happen. It's not a perfect world. And you're going to get it wrong. And somebody may criticize you. And we're going to tell you how to deal with the criticism. We're going to tell you how to deal with when you make mistakes. It's OK. Progress, not perfection.
